About the C-BARQ
The Canine Behavioral Assessment & Research Questionnaire (C-BARQ) is a standardized, behavioral evaluation tool for dog owners/guardians, handlers and professionals. It was developed and validated by Yuying Hsu and James Serpell in 2003, and has been available for completion via a publicly accessible online website since 2005. At the time of writing, the C-BARQ database at the University of Pennsylvania now contains detailed behavioral evaluations for approximately 50,000 pet dogs comprising more than 300 different breeds and cross-breeds.

How to Sign up:
Step 1: Create a Profile with a unique username and password you can remember.
Step 2: Add a dog that is participating in a study.
Step 3: Find the Study in the Pull down and add the access code: 558734
Step 4: Add your dog’s name, age, breed, and sex.
Note: a case number is not required , you will be assigned a number once accepted into the study
Step 5: Congratulations, your dog has been successfully added. Finish your registration by completing your initial Evaluation, by clicking “EVALUATE MY DOG”
Step 6: Complete your initial 42 question Assessment 1. Once completed our team will contact you to schedule a intake call.
